So which electric cars in Türkiye have V2L? The short answer: many models support V2L, including the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and 6, the Kia EV6 and EV9, the Togg T10F, the MG4 / ZS EV / Marvel R, the BYD Atto 3 / Dolphin / Seal, the KGM (Ssangyong) Torres EVX and the Skywell ET5/BE11. What is V2L? (Taking electricity from the car)

V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) means the electric car converts the energy in its traction battery to standard mains voltage (230V) and passes it to devices outside. In other words, your car stops being merely something that consumes electricity and becomes a source that supplies it, like a giant power station. That is exactly what is meant by "taking electricity from an electric car". Because a car's battery is very large, it offers many times more energy than a small portable power station.

Which electric cars in Türkiye have V2L? (the 2026 list)

In the table below we have listed only the models sold in Türkiye whose V2L capability we have verified. We deliberately left out models we could not be sure about. Note: on some models V2L may depend on the equipment package or the software version; for definite information, check your own car's owner's handbook or its on-screen menu.

If you cannot see your car in the list, that certainly does not mean it has no V2L; it only means we could not verify it while preparing this article. New models are added often and some cars gain V2L through later software updates — Togg T10F, for instance, gained the feature with a 2026 software update. On the T10X side, V2L arrives with cars built after 15 June 2026 that have the LFP battery and the 11 kW OBC; older T10X units do not have it. Confirm your own car from its on-screen menu.

Does a Tesla have V2L?

Short answer: no. The great majority of Tesla's models on sale (including the Model 3 and the Model Y) do not offer V2L from the factory; that is, you cannot turn a Tesla directly into a socket and power devices, and the brand-specific V2L adapters in this article are not suitable for a Tesla. V2L is a headline advantage of brands such as Hyundai and Kia (the E-GMP platform), Togg, MG, BYD and KGM. For a driver who wants to take electricity from their car, it makes sense to check V2L support when deciding on a purchase.

How many kW does V2L deliver, and what can it run?

On most cars the V2L output is around 3–3.7 kW (usually a single earthed Schuko socket at 230V and up to 16A). The exact value varies by car — for example, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the Kia EV6 deliver about 3.6 kW and the KGM Torres EVX about 3.5 kW. In everyday life this power turns out to be surprisingly useful.

• Camping & caravanning: fridge, lighting, coffee machine, phone and laptop charging.
• Site & workshop: electric hand tools such as a drill, an angle grinder or a small compressor.
• Home & emergencies: the fridge, the modem and a few lamps during a short power cut.
• Events & picnics: a sound system, a grill, a projector.
• In a pinch: powering another device or vehicle at low power.

One rule only: the combined power of the devices you connect at the same time must not exceed the car's V2L limit. Devices that draw high power, such as an oven, an electric heater or a welding machine, can quickly push against that limit.

What is a V2L output adapter and why is it needed?

If the car has no socket inside the cabin (or it is not enough), the way to use V2L is the exterior charging socket. But you cannot plug straight into that socket; a V2L output adapter goes in between. This adapter takes the car's Type 2 charging socket and gives you a standard earthed socket (Schuko) — and you plug your device straight into it. No installation, ready in seconds and carried in the boot.

An important point: V2L adapters are mostly brand-specific. That is because different manufacturers provide the V2L output on the socket with a different pin arrangement and handshake logic. So trying to power, say, an MG with an adapter made for Hyundai will not give the right result. The right adapter = the adapter that matches your brand.
